Well, just got off the phone with the nurse and guess what? THEY ARE EXTUBATING TJ TOMORROW!
He's been breathing "above" the vent the last couple days. they basically turn down the frequency of it to see if he tries to breath faster than it.. he has! it's a good thing!
Also, at the last wound change, they noted %5 granulation or scar tissue forming when before there was NONE.... YAYYYYYY!!!! lol.
Little steps.... but they're steps nonetheless!
